Each June, communities across Maine (and the country) come together to celebrate Pride month. This is a time reflect on our history and honor the hard work and accomplishments of those who have come before us. It is a time to harness our queer joy and celebrate how unique and beautiful our community is. And during these unprecedented times, it is critical for us all to stay focused on keeping our community strong, supported and safe!
Our strength IS our community, and our resilience is our path forward.
Pride celebrations give us the opportunity to connect with friends, make new acquaintances and refuel our spirits for the work that lies ahead. We hope to see you at a celebration near you or at one of the many events we’re hosting over the month.
