The Equality Community Center (ECC) is an LGBTQ+ community center that also houses 16 social justice focused non-profit organizations and community programs. This summer, we will open Equality Commons, Maine’s first affordable senior living community with support services and programs for LGBTQ+ older adults.
By making a donation, you will help us meet the evolving needs of our diverse community in the following ways:
provide support programs and services for the residents of Equality Commons
expand our services to provide mental health and crisis support services
develop a case management program to help navigate community resources
renovate our kitchen and expand our food programs to provide more warm, nutritious meals
create a new youth lounge to house an afterschool drop-in program for LGBTQ+ teens
