Please join us for our annual fundraiser to support our work on behalf of Maine’s LGBTQ+ community. The Rainbow Affair promises to be a fabulous night out for our community while we celebrate how far we’ve come since our founding in 2015. Great food, drinks, entertainment, and dancing with a live band!

All funds raised will help ensure a sustainable future of programming and operations for the Center as well as making sure that we have the resources needed to open Equality Commons, Maine’s first LGBTQ+ affirming affordable senior living community, next summer!

Please consider supporting the ECC by making an additional contribution to serve on the host committee! Hosts are invited to a special reception to kick off the night with an open bar, lite bites and live music!

  • Community Champion: $2,500
    includes admission for 8 host reception w/ open bar, reserved parking & 5 raffle tickets per guest

  • Community Defender: $1,000
    includes admission for 4, host reception w/ open bar, reserved parking & 5 raffle tickets per guest

  • Community Partner: $500
    includes admission for 2, host reception w/ open bar, reserved parking & 5 raffle tickets per guest

  • Community Advocate: $300
    includes admission for 2, host reception w/ open bar

  • Community Friend: $150

Your support of The Rainbow Affair will help us to:

  • open Equality Commons, Maine’s first affordable housing complex with services for LGBTQ+ older adults next summer

  • develop new, dynamic, and impactful programs to support the most marginalized in our community, including but not limited to LGBTQ+ youth and elders, trans and non-binary folks, immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers, and BIPOC Mainers.

  • sustain the operations of the Center which provides quality office, meeting and event space for 16 LGBTQ+ and allied social justice-focused non-profit organizations and community programs.
