The Rainbow Affair will be a celebration of our major accomplishments since our founding in 2015, and all funds raised will help ensure a sustainable future of programming and operations for the Center.

If you cannot attend, please consider making a regrets donation to support the event and help us realize our vision for a safe and welcoming community center and affordable housing for LGBTQ+ older adults.


Your support of The Rainbow Affair will help us to:

  • break ground on Maine’s first affordable housing complex for LGBTQ+ older adults

  • finish renovations at our new home in downtown Portland

  • develop new, dynamic, and impactful programs to support the most marginalized in our community, including but not limited to LGBTQ+ youth and elders, trans and non-binary folks, immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers, and BIPOC Mainers.

  • sustain the operations of the Center which provides quality office, meeting and event space for 18 LGBTQ+ and allied social justice-focused non-profit organizations and community programs.
