The Rainbow Affair is our annual gala to support our work on behalf of Maine’s LGBTQ+ community. We will kick off the holiday season with friends while enjoying delicious food and drinks, amazing live entertainment and a dance party with the band Plush!

Join Our Host Committee (in formation)!

Host committee members are invited to join us for a special reception at 5:30PM with an open bar, hors d'oeuvres and live music before the main event. You'll connect with other supporters and community leaders. Serving on the host committee is a great chance to support the ECC while getting the most out of the night!

Please consider supporting the ECC by making an additional contribution to serve on the host committee! Hosts are invited to a special cocktail hour to kick off the night with an open bar, lite bites and live entertainment!

If you cannot attend, please consider making a regrets donation to support the event and help us realize our vision for a safe and welcoming community center and affordable housing for LGBTQ+ older adults.

Your support of The Rainbow Affair will help us to:

• Expand resources and services for residents of Equality Commons, Maine’s first affordable housing complex with services for LGBTQ+ older adults.

• Develop new, dynamic, and impactful programs to support the most marginalized in our community, including but not limited to LGBTQ+ youth and elders, trans and non-binary folks, immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers, and BIPOC Mainers.

• Sustain the operations of the Center which provides quality office, meeting and event space for 16 LGBTQ+ and allied social justice-focused non-profit organizations and community programs
