The Ecc’s inaugural golf tournament

In 2019, our friends at EqualityMaine launched Maine’s first LGBTQ+ centered golf tournament, Out on the Green. After several successful years, the tournament took a quick hiatus last year. With EQME’s well wishes, we are grateful and thrilled to continue this community tradition in partnership with Jenn Arps of Atlantic Coast Financial, now as a benefit to support the Equality Community Center!

Fore the Love is a day to celebrate Maine’s LGBTQ+ and allied communities out on the links. We hope you will join us for a day filled with joy, friendly competition, and love for our community at Sunset Ridge in Westbrook!

The Basics

4-person scramble format

Registration: 7am
Shotgun Start: 8am
19th Hole Celebration: 3pm

Registration is open to the first 30 foursomes that sign up. If you don't have others to sign up with, don’t worry…we’ll match you up with others. Your entry fee includes a box lunch, golf cart, 18 holes of play, and a great awards banquet with meal at the end of the day.

There will be raffles, fun contests, and entertainment throughout the event.

About the ECC

The Equality Community Center is Maine's first and only LGBTQ+ community center, located in downtown Portland. We house 20 LGBTQ+ and social justice-focused non-profit organizations and community programs, while also serving as a safe haven and resource for our community.

All proceeds from Fore the Love will help us serve the most marginalized in our community, including launching an after-school drop-in program for LGBTQ+ youth. Additionally, funds raised will help us prepare to open the Equality Commons, Maine's first LGBTQ+ affirming affordable senior housing complex to be located right next to the Center, next summer!

The ECC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and all contributions are tax-deductible to the furthest extent allowed by law.
