The Equality Community Center (ECC) is Maine’s first and only LGBTQ+ and social justice-focused community center — a place where individuals and organizations come together to build a stronger, more inclusive Maine.
Your monthly gift to our Stronger Together Giving Circle helps us sustain this vital work and plan boldly for the future, including achieving the following:
provide support programs and services for the residents of Equality Commons
expand our services to provide mental health and crisis support services
develop a case management program to help navigate community resources
renovate our kitchen and expand our food programs to provide more warm, nutritious meals
create a new youth lounge to house an afterschool drop-in program for LGBTQ+ teens
