Join Alpha Legal Foundation for a gathering designed to honor Dr. King’s legacy through reflection, fellowship, and the simple joy of breaking bread together centered on the theme Joy is Resistance.

We offer two options to join us:

• 8:30 am for our early risers (doors open at 7:45 am)

• 10:30 am for those who sleep in (doors open at 10:00 am)

For generations, MLK Day has been more than a day of remembrance. In many communities, it has been a day to come together — to share food, music, and purpose — and to recommit ourselves to justice with love and hope.

We believe that joy is not a distraction from the work — it is part of the work. Joy strengthens us. Joy connects us. Joy reminds us why we fight for freedom and collective liberation.
