Purim is an ancient Jewish celebration centered around anti-fascism, radical joy, and resistance. Each year, Jews come together to tell the story of resilience in the face of totalitarianism. In our current moment, telling this story in a way that unites us against fascism is more important than ever. Portland’s Purim in the Streets will honor this holiday through local storytelling, a protest parade in town, followed by a community dinner with opportunities to mobilize toward mutual aid. Come join the magic and connect with the movement! We hope to see you there!
