Cities are habitats too!! This winter, join Maine Audubon Field Naturalist Stacia Brezinski who will introduce you to the wildlife in three unique urban habitats:
Parks, Waterfront, and Preserves.
To participate in the stewardship of our urban habitats, we'll collect litter that we see during our Parks and Waterfront walks using cleanup kits provided by the Sustainability Office.
The first walk is on Saturday, December 6, from 1 - 3 pm, starting at the Equality Community Center in Portland. Binoculars are encouraged, but not necessary, and some pairs will be available to borrow. This program is free, registration is required.
