"City of Servers" Screening

The Restaurant Workers Coalition is hosting a screening of the locally-made documentary “City of Servers,” followed by a Q&A with director Elora Griswold and the opportunity for restaurant workers to share their experiences working in the industry.

“The City of Servers is a short investigative documentary following four servers living in Portland (with varying political beliefs) which shows how they live and pay for their lives on a tight monthly budget. The piece will also explores the owning class perspective on these debates via interviews with local restaurant owners & food truck owners. Finally, the documentary searches for community-based solutions to these debates through a conversations with local politicians, industry activists, and our variety of aforementioned interviewees.”
